The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Firmly rooted in the past (late 60s, 70s), nevertheless with a fresh sound. Guests incude The Tangent's Andy Tillison and Soft Machine's Theo Travis. Carsten Pieper

Mysterious, yet nostalgic, Isolubilia is truly an ode to the romance found in the pursuit of a mystery. got recc'd this on youtube and loved it- reminds me a lot of late 60's and early 70's records i used to hear playing out of my parents' stereo on sweltering summer days. OPAL

This item was on my extensive wishlist for a long time, somewhere in the bottom half named "forgotten, not forlorn". When it recently appeared on Alan Benjamin's wishlist, I was reminded of this cruel fact. Actually, many of the fans I'm following on Bandcamp, renowned for their excellent taste in music, already purchased it long ago, which unmistakeably says something about the quality of this album. Moreover, it's from the Italian "AltrOck Productions" label, which offers a hefty catalog of superb releases. Should I write more? Well, yes, of course... Fans of complex 70's vintage music employing huge stacks of keyboards will have a lot of fun with this gem from France created by Fabrice Chouette, Patrick Dufour, and Frédéric Chaput. OK, this should suffice. Now listen... and buy... Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
